Before our homeowners make a final decision we make sure the need exists and the functionality will last forever.
Remember this – with remodeling this inconvenience is temporary, the improvement is forever.
Born and raised in Northern New Jersey, my passion for remodeling developed at the age of 16. Working on a window installation crew for the family business, I gained priceless knowledge of the industry. I studied Engineering at the University of Delaware for two years, then returned home to work for the family business full-time. In just a few short years I was managing the service/installation department for Morris Window and Siding, Inc.
In 2008 I put the remodeling industry on hold and pursued my second passion which was baseball. My best friend and I founded RBI’s, one of Morris County’s premier baseball/softball schools specializing in private lessons and team training. After 5 fulfilling years of coaching, I was heading back to my creative side.
In 2017, my wife Stephanie and I welcomed our beautiful daughter Ariella in to the world, In 2021 our family became complete with our son Bohdi. Not long after that, I started working for a life-long friend who specialized in custom woodworking and design. Owner Louie Bravo at Against the Grain Custom Wood Design was able to parlay his design knowledge with my remodeling background. With our two skills, we were able to take the business to the next level.
In March of 2020 we moved to the relaxing Coastal Carolina area. With the area’s demand for high level craftsmanship, we formed Coastal Improvements NC, LLC. providing quality work in a timely manner.

Jerry made a custom bed for us with cedar wood and I just love it. He does all kinds of work, a true carpenter.
